Ukrainian Rada MP calls for signing gas deal with Russia
Ukraine needs to sign a gas contract with Russia, said Vadim Rabinovich, a Verkhovna Rada deputy and member of the Opposition Platform - for Life party.

“The contract with Russia and the fact that Nord Stream 2 was confirmed by Angela Merkel, because it was beneficial to her voters… led to the conclusion that we had to conclude a gas agreement with Russia. We lost tens of billions of dollars,” Rabinovich said on NewsOne TV channel on Thursday.
According to him, Ukraine needs to develop relations with Europe, without going there "on a hunch and asking for money with an outstretched hand."
