Nghia Dan: 600 households received water tanks from the Government program

((Baonghean.vn) - On October 29, the People's Committee of Nghia Dan district organized the implementation of the program to support dispersed domestic water for 600 poor ethnic minority households in extremely disadvantaged villages and communes in the district.

Implementing Decision 755/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, in the first phase, Nghia Dan district has 600 ethnic minority households, poor households of 16 communes registered for support of water tanks, each household is supported with 1 water tank, Polyethylene plastic material is 100% imported from a reputable manufacturer in Thailand with a special 3-layer structure, capacity of 500 liters, each tank is equivalent to 1 million 300 thousand. The total support cost for this phase is 780 million VND.

The policy of supporting decentralized domestic water according to Decision 755/QD-TTg promptly meets the demand for domestic water, contributing to increasing the rate of households using clean water and hygienic water in the district in general, and among ethnic minorities in particular.
