Nghia Dan: Training in brocade weaving

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 11, the Women's Union of Nghia Dan district coordinated with the SODI/BMZ Nghe An Project Management Board to organize the closing ceremony of a brocade weaving training course for disabled women and ethnic minority women in Nghia Duc commune.

The class had 28 students who were ethnic minorities, including 3 disabled students from Nghia Duc commune. During the 2 months, they acquired theoretical knowledge and practiced on the loom about embroidering patterns and letters on skirts, scarves, blankets, curtains, bags - familiar items for ethnic minorities.

As a result, 100% of the students met the requirements, including 9 students with excellent grades. On this occasion, the District Women's Union awarded 6 students with excellent achievements in their studies. This is the 6th brocade weaving class organized by the Nghia Dan Women's Union.
