(Baonghean.vn) - On December 17, the Department of Education and Training of Nghia Dan district organized a science and technology innovation contest for high school students for the 2014-2015 school year.

The contest had 29 products from 42 students in grades 8 and 9 from 16 secondary schools in Nghia Dan. The contest aims to promote scientific research in secondary schools, innovate teaching methods, and improve the quality of teaching in schools in Nghia Dan district. This is also an opportunity to select a team to participate in the upcoming Nghe An province science and technology innovation contest.

As a result, the first prize went to the Fire Alarm Device of two students Trinh Le Xuan Huy and Luong The Bao, Nghia Dan Town Secondary School; the second prize went to the Multi-purpose Incinerator of Phu Tho Secondary School, the Exhaust Gas Treatment System of the Practice Room, Loi - Lac Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities; the third prize went to the Hydroponic Vegetable Growing Model, Lam Son Secondary School, the Light Curtain Opening and Closing System, Phu Tho Secondary School. In addition, the organizing committee also awarded 14 consolation prizes.
