Nghia Dan: Training on teaching Vietnamese to first-grade students - Educational technology.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 30th, the Nghia Dan District Department of Education and Training held the opening ceremony for the training course on teaching Vietnamese to first-grade students using educational technology for the 2015-2016 school year.

The training program on teaching Vietnamese to first-grade students using educational technology for the 2015-2016 school year was organized by the Department of Education and Training of Nghia Dan district into two classes for 212 teachers, including principals, vice-principals, heads of subject departments, and first-grade teachers from 26 primary schools throughout the district.

Over the course of three days (from July 30th to August 1st), trainees will be introduced to the Vietnamese language subject for Grade 1 - Educational Technology by education department specialists; some issues regarding Vietnamese phonetics; Model 0 on preparatory lessons; Model 1 on sounds; Model 2 on phonemes; Model 3 on syllables; Model 4 on diphthongs; Model 5 on spelling rules; Model 6 on comprehensive practice; preparation for practicing the models; and group activities.

The training course aims to provide principals and teachers of primary schools with new teaching methods, enabling them to proactively organize and control the teaching process using technical procedures handled with pedagogical expertise.

It is known that Nghia Dan district has implemented a pilot program for teaching Vietnamese to first-grade students using educational technology in 7 schools since the 2013-2014 school year, achieving very high effectiveness. In the 2015-2016 school year, the district will apply the program to 100% of primary schools throughout the district.
