Nghia Dan: Discussion on Vietnamese Doctors' Day February 27
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 25, the People's Committee of Nghia Dan district organized a meeting and discussion to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2015).

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the tradition of Vietnamese Doctors' Day and the history of the medical sector of Nghia Dan district.
Currently, Nghia Dan has 17/25 communes and towns that meet National Health standards (accounting for 68%), 23/25 commune health stations have doctors, the rate of malnourished children is 15.3%, Measles - Rubella vaccination is 95%, the rate of children under 5 years old receiving high doses of Vitamin A is 99.8%.
Retired medical staff in the area shared their working experiences and expressed their belief in the development of the industry to better fulfill its noble mission of taking care of people's health.
On this occasion, the People's Committee of Nghia Dan district also commended collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the cause of protecting and taking care of people's health, and presented souvenirs to former leaders of the Nghia Dan district Health sector through the periods.
