Nghia Khanh (Nghia Dan): Mobilizing people to build rural transport
(Baonghean) - Nghia Khanh is one of two localities chosen by Nghia Dan district to implement the national target program on new rural construction. In addition to implementing other criteria, Nghia Khanh has focused on developing rural transport by mobilizing people's strength.
We arrived at Tho Loc Cultural Village when the concrete road running through the hamlet, about 400m long, 3.2m wide, estimated to cost over 200 million VND, had just been completed and put into use. Needless to say, the joy of the people here, because they no longer had to worry about mud in the rainy season or dust in the dry season. What they were happiest about was that this road was completed with their own efforts. Comrade Nguyen Thi Lien, Secretary of Tho Loc Party Cell, Nghia Khanh, said: "Implementing the Resolution of the Nghia Khanh Commune Party Committee on building new rural areas, the people in the hamlet were very supportive. The Party Cell, together with the hamlet's Front Committee, mobilized each family to contribute 100,000 VND, and at the same time mobilized working days, and in 1 week, this road was completed. In general, the people were very supportive."
It can be said that the most difficult problem of localities today in building rural traffic is the lack of capital. However, with the determination and high consensus of the people, Nghia Khanh has completed many rural traffic routes in the commune, typically the hamlets of Hong Khanh, Trung Khanh... with a total length of about 5 km, mobilizing the people's strength of over 2 billion VND.
Mr. Pham Van Duc - Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, Deputy of the Steering Committee for the construction of new rural areas of Nghia Khanh Commune said: In 2012, along with the two goals of electricity and schools, the commune will complete the Tan Khanh pumping station in the Ban Mong Project, serving irrigation for nearly 360 hectares, completing an additional 3 km of concrete roads within the village, and irrigation canals. To do this, an important part is consensus among the people.
