Using two different types of ink, red ink, or pencils is strictly prohibited (except for circles drawn with a compass, which can be done with a pencil). Mistakes must be crossed out with a ruler; correction fluid is not allowed. This is a regulation from the Ministry of Education and Training for candidates taking the high school graduation and university/college entrance exams.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Education and Training requires that when entering the examination room, candidates must comply with the following regulations: Before the first exam session, present the Examination Card to the invigilator and present the Identity Card when requested by the invigilator.

Only pens, pencils, compasses, erasers, rulers, slide rules, and pocket calculators without memory card slots or text editing capabilities are allowed in the exam room.

Carbon paper, correction fluid, documents, weapons, explosives, flammable materials, beer, alcohol, technical equipment for receiving, transmitting, recording, or filming information, devices containing information that could be used to cheat on the exam, and other items are not allowed in the examination area and examination room. Smoking is prohibited in the examination room.

Before starting the exam, you must write your full registration number (both letters and numbers) on the exam paper and scratch paper. Your answers must be written clearly and neatly, without crumpling, markings, or personal symbols. Using two different types of ink, red ink, or pencils is strictly prohibited (except for circles drawn with a compass, which can be drawn with a pencil). Any mistakes must be crossed out with a ruler; correction fluid is not allowed.

Candidates must protect their own work and are strictly prohibited from cheating, including looking at other candidates' papers, exchanging opinions, or sharing materials during the exam.

Candidates should note that in the examination room, if they need to ask the invigilator anything, they must ask openly. They must maintain order and silence in the examination room. In case of illness or other unforeseen circumstances, they must report it to the invigilator for appropriate action.

When the exam time is over, candidates must stop working and submit their papers to the invigilator. Even if they cannot complete the exam, candidates must still submit their exam papers. When submitting their papers, candidates must clearly indicate the number of pages submitted and sign to confirm on the candidate tracking list. Candidates are only allowed to leave the examination room and area after 2/3 of the exam time has elapsed and after submitting their papers and exam questions to the invigilator, except in cases of illness requiring emergency medical attention as decided by the person in charge of the examination center.
