The mini campus is built exactly like an ancient house in the North, impressive by the owner's meticulousness and ingenuity.

Having been passionate about bonsai for many years, Mr. Nguyen Van Truong (Hai Phong) has the chance to own a miniature house in the Northern style built 10 years ago. |
The house's area is 2.24 m2 (1.4x1.6m) including a 3-room main house, 2 outbuildings and a pond in front of the house. |

The house's area is 2.24 m2 (1.4x1.6m) including a 3-room main house, 2 outbuildings and a pond in front of the house. |
Initially, the house was carefully built, beautiful in every detail but did not have many trees. After moving the house to Hai Phong, Mr. Truong added a wall behind the house, a duckweed pond and planted many trees around. |
The gate of the house is cooler and more ancient with the shade of the banyan tree. |
The project was left outdoors, exposed to the sun and wind for 10 years, so the tiled roof and brick yard have turned old, mossy and rustic. |
The outhouse has a rice mortar, next to it is a granary and a pigeon coop. |
A traditional house cannot be without the image of "Planting areca in front, then planting bananas". Therefore, the homeowner took great pains to find a small banana tree to fit the small space. |
Mr. Truong shared that he spent a lot of time finding suitable trees for the campus, keeping them from growing too big and destroying the space. |
Each tiny brick is baked with straw, just like the ancient roofs of Northern families. |
The duckweed pond has steps and bonsai trees are planted, reflecting on the clear water surface. |
Next to the house is a rainwater tank with a water pipe from the roof. |
On the porch there is also a water jar and a stone dog. |
