Funny watch snails racing to climb mushrooms

Russian photographer Anatolih Evgenii came up with the idea of ​​organizing a race between two snails to win the ripe red cherry on top of a mushroom.

A race for a cherry atop a mushroom takes place between spiral-shelled snails and spotted-shelled snails in the studio of photographer Anatolih Evgenii in Russia. At the start of the race, the spotted-shelled snail quickly gained the upper hand over its rival.

Not giving up, the spiral snail tried its best to race with its rival and they were almost at the same position under the mushroom cap. However, the spotted snail “played dirty” by deciding to attack its rival instead of going straight to the finish line.

Nevertheless, the spiral-shelled snail beat its deceitful rival to the finish line and claimed the prize of a ripe cherry, while the spotted snail sadly crawled down from the mushroom. Perhaps it will have to reconsider its tactics next time.

“I love creating interesting scenarios for my snails. I thought it would be funny to have a snail race as they are known to be the slowest animals on the planet. They seemed to speed up when they saw the peach. Unfortunately, only one won, but I’m sure they’ll share the prize,” said the 48-year-old photographer.
