SLNA star raises charity funds with Ho Chi Minh City Artists Association

(Baonghean.vn)- Recently, the Vietnam Record Organization has just established a Vietnamese record for SLNA players: "a volunteer football team with many players who have played and are playing for the Vietnam national football team".

Putting aside the controversy over the refereeing issue in the last round 9 match between FLC Thanh Hoa and SLNA, with the serious mistake from referee Ha Anh Chien, SLNA players are now eager for the match against Da Nang in round 10, and one day later (May 15), SLNA players from many generations will gather at Thong Nhat Stadium to play a football match with the Ho Chi Minh City artist team to raise funds for charity.

In addition, SLNA players were officially recognized by the Vietnam Record Organization as a "volunteer football team with many players who have played and are playing for the Vietnam national football team" on (April 23), under the name Family no1 football team.

TeamFamily no1 is a collection of many national players.

Immediately after being honored by the Vietnam Record Organization, Family No. 1 team worked with the Nghe Tinh Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City and unanimously elected Mr. Phan Dinh Tue (Vice President of Nghe Tinh Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City) as the head of the Organizing Committee for the match between Family No. 1 team with the core of former and current players playing for SLNA and the Ho Chi Minh City artist team on May 15.

Talking to us, the Head of the match's Organizing Committee, Mr. Phan Dinh Tue, said: "As a football lover, I am very happy that the SLNA players, in addition to contributing to the national team, are also highly aware of charity activities in society. I know that the Family No1 football team (the core of which is former and current SLNA players) has participated in many charity matches in Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and raised hundreds of millions of VND for difficult circumstances in those localities.

Therefore, when we heard that Family No1 football team wanted to organize a charity football match in Ho Chi Minh City, as individuals and as the Nghe Tinh Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City, we fully supported and organized this match with Family No1 football team. With the sole wish that through the match, we can help more difficult situations in society and further, join hands to support the island soldiers who are facing many difficulties in working conditions in the East Sea."

Meanwhile, Mr. Pham Anh Hieu (captain of Family no1 football team) said: "All preparations for the match have been completed. We have contacted SLNA Club to borrow 7 players who have played for U23 Vietnam and the national team, including: Ho Tuan Tai, Cao Xuan Thang, Ho Sy Sam, Ngoc Hai, Phi Son, Manh Hung, Nguyen Manh and assistant coach Duc Thang will also attend. In addition, there will also be the participation of Van Quyen, Huy Hoang (retired), Van Binh (Thanh Hoa), Au Hoan, Trong Hoang, Dinh Luat (B.BD), The Anh (Can Tho) ...".

The match between Family No.1 and the HCM City Artists team will take place at 4:30 p.m. on May 15 at Thong Nhat Stadium. Tickets are priced at 20,000 VND/ticket, and all proceeds from ticket sales and appeals will be donated to charity.
