The lamp and the lesson plan
(Baonghean) - In my deep impression, the image of a teacher with a lamp and a lesson plan always appears. The lamp shines brightly and the lesson plan shines green. The lamp in the late nights, the teacher alone. A bit of solitude and silence in the quiet of space, in the quiet flow of time. In the past, we used to light oil lamps - bean lamps. The more the oil ran out, the brighter the wick became and before going out, it always burned brightly. Now the electric lamp casts a shadow on the bright space of the lesson plan, a complete, transparent halo, shining with love and hope.

Some people compare the teaching profession to a ferryman who takes students across the river. The ferry is full of knowledge through two banks of erosion, rain and sun. The oars still beat leisurely and steadily. Sometimes it is a bit wobbly, but tilting to balance, to confidently reach the shore. The dock is the old dock, the passengers crossing the river are always new, from one generation to another. The lamp is the same. Years pass, the halo of pure light remains. The energy of knowledge lights up the lamp filament, which is warm and spreading. The lamp filament is slender, but the light is boundless. And the teacher's hair has its limits due to time and age. The hair will eventually turn gray, gray, and white. Each gray hair that falls out of the teacher's hair recharges the lamp filament with more energy and life.
The teacher's lesson plans are fresher every day, but the ink is still the same, still purple with loyalty, still green with hope. The lesson plans do not get thicker, but the knowledge is fuller. The theorems and equations are still the same. The teacher still cherishes addition, multiplication, and also cherishes division and subtraction. Although in everyday life, the teacher always longs to add and multiply, not to divide or subtract, even though the laws of life are harsh. The pages of literature and Kieu are fluttering. The paper is too thin, life is full of uncertainties. Teaching literature is teaching how to be a human being, to deepen the good, to erase the evil. The board is black, the chalk is white. Hopefully, this clear black and white will guide the students to clearly distinguish black and white in society. There is nothing more monotonous than boring repetition. But the teacher's lesson plans are in harmony, sympathy and companionship. Sympathy with the teacher's heart towards the students. He also accompanied the students on every road of the country when they were grown up. His lectures laid the first foundation bricks for the future owners to build the buildings of knowledge. The lesson plan was as quiet as the teacher, as nervous as the first day of teaching. The old and the new intertwined to honor and perfect...
The lamp and the lesson plan, the school yard and the color of royal poinciana flowers, the teacher and many classes of students, the sound of the school drum like an echo, the school gate like an open book... Perhaps in this world there is nothing as affectionate as the two words "teacher" and "teacher" as the two words "mother" and "father" in the traditional Tet tradition of the nation: "The first day of Tet is for Father, the second day of Tet is for Mother, the third day of Tet is for Teacher". The eternal filial piety of the nation "respecting teachers and valuing education" begins to shine from the lamp and adds color to the lesson plan!
