After 12 hours of fishing at sea, the pair of fishing boats of Cao Duc fishermen arrived at the port with more than 3 tons of squid and crabs of all kinds, all fresh. Fisherman Cao Duc shared: "We took advantage of these days to "increase trips" to go offshore to both supply seafood to tourists during the holidays and increase income for the crew."

Fish at the port are waiting for traders to come and buy.

During these days, over 1,400 boats in Dien Chau have increased their trips to sea. Favorable weather from the beginning of the southern fishing season has motivated people to stay at sea. On average, Dien Chau fishermen exploit 600 - 700 tons of seafood of all kinds every day, which are purchased directly by traders at the wharf. After deducting expenses, each boat earns a profit of 10 - 15 million VND per day, and a boat that goes for a week can earn up to 100 million VND per trip. The steady income of offshore fishing fleets can be considered a good sign, encouraging fishermen.
