Fishermen rush to sell seafood before storm number 4
(Baonghean.vn) - Before the news of storm No. 4, many fishing boats in Quynh Luu (Nghe An) when docking quickly sold seafood before the storm made landfall.
In response to information about storm No. 4, all fishing boats of Quynh Luu fishermen who were fishing at sea quickly came ashore and anchored safely. Many boats, upon docking, quickly sold their seafood before the storm hit land.

After storm No. 2 dissipated, fisherman Nguyen Van Luyen's fishing boat in Quynh Thuan commune set out to sea to catch seafood. After 6 days of fishing at sea, his boat received a notice that storm No. 4 was moving into Nghe An waters, and immediately all crew members on board gathered their nets and returned to the port to anchor. On the morning of July 25, the boat docked at Lach Quen port and transported seafood ashore for consumption.
"In just one week, we had to return to the port twice to avoid storms. Fortunately, on this trip to avoid storm number 4, the ship was able to catch more than 10 tons of fish, earning nearly 400 million VND; after deducting expenses, each crew member earned 5-7 million VND" - Mr. Luyen shared.

Not only Mr. Luyen's boat, many fishing boats taking shelter from storm No. 4 also urgently tied up their boats, repaired fishing gear, and transported seafood ashore for consumption before heavy rain and strong winds came.
Fisherman Ho Van Bac in Quynh Long commune said, currently our boat still has nearly 20 tons of fish in the hold, the crew is urgently transporting the fish to the dock to sell to traders.

The ships returning to shelter from storm No. 4 all had a good season of catching silver pomfret and black-spotted fish... These types of fish are popular in the Chinese and Lao markets, so the ships returning to port easily sell their products; currently silver pomfret and black-spotted fish are priced from 50,000 - 80,000 VND/kg.
As of the afternoon of July 25, more than 1,275 fishing boats of Quynh Luu district fishermen had safely come ashore to take shelter from the storm; the work of preventing and responding to storms and floods was seriously carried out by fishermen./.
