After 20 days at sea, Mr. Dau Dinh Huu's fishing boat brought back 30 tons of small spotted fish and some fresh squid. He said that all the fish were purchased by traders at the wharf at 6 million VND/ton, with a total value of 180 million VND.

Similarly, fishing boat NA 98868TS of Mr. Nguyen Quoc Trung after 8 days at sea brought back 20 tons of small spotted fish and more than 100 kg of squid, all of which were sold at the wharf to traders for 130 million VND.

Quynh Lap commune has 146 offshore fishing boats, with a capacity of 200 CV - 1,020 CV, with a monthly output of 2,000 - 3,000 tons. Quynh Lap fishermen mainly fish with 4 sao of net, and this season they harvest a lot of small spotted fish.

In the commune, there are 16 facilities that purchase fish for fishermen. All of the fish caught by fishermen are purchased by these facilities.

In the first 5 months of the year, fishermen in Quynh Lap (Hoang Mai Town) exploited over 15,000 tons of various seafood, with an income value of about 150 billion VND, reaching 55% of the yearly plan and increasing by 10% over the same period last year.
