These drugs are all in the form of intravenous infusion solutions, containing the active ingredients Ciprofloxacin and Levofloxacin used to treat infections such as sinusitis, pneumonia, sepsis, etc.
These 7 drugs are all manufactured by Helix Pharmaceuticals in Canada and imported by VN Pharma. The registration numbers of these 7 drugs were withdrawn from the list of drugs circulated in Vietnam because the drug data and information files were not consistent with the actual production.
Along with stopping the circulation of the above drugs, the Drug Administration also decided to stop receiving initial registration applications, re-registration applications and not issue drug circulation registration numbers for applications submitted by Vietnam Pharma Company and produced by Helix Pharmaceuticals Company.
Recently, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health also canceled the bidding results of 7 drug products that won the bid in May 2014, including 2 drug products of Vietnam Pharma and its member company, Nam Anh Pharmaceutical, that won the bid./.
