Hong Kong protesters march to Chief Executive's house
Reuters reported on October 22 that about 200 Hong Kong (China) protesters marched to the home of Leung Chun-ying, Chief Executive of the Special Administrative Region, to urge reform of the electoral system.
The move comes a day after talks between student leaders and senior Hong Kong officials failed to break the deadlock.

Protesters have been calling for Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying’s resignation, many of them angered by comments he made this week that more representative democracy was unacceptable because it would lead to poorer people having more say in politics.
Meanwhile, other protesters continued to block major streets in the city, where they have camped out for nearly a month to protest a central government plan that would give Hong Kongers the chance to vote for their leader in 2017 but mostly limit the number of candidates loyal to Beijing./.
