Dien Chau Elderly People Build Great National Unity

(Baonghean) -Implementing the criterion "The older the age, the higher the ambition, setting a shining example for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland", the elderly in Dien Chau district (Nghe An) are not only active in party building work but also are leading examples in consolidating the government and building the great national unity bloc.

Dien Chau district currently has over 4,000 elderly party members, accounting for nearly 40% of the total number of party members in the district. In order to join hands to contribute to the construction and development in all areas of the locality, up to now, over 1,500 elderly people in Dien Chau have participated in the work of the mass front at all levels and the mediation teams, security teams, and grassroots people's inspection committees. On average, each year, the Dien Chau Association of the Elderly has over 1,000 opinions to contribute to the fight against corruption and waste; effectively implements social supervision and criticism activities, is respected by all classes of people, and trusted by all levels of government.
