(Baonghean)Overcoming difficult circumstances, raising children to adulthood and maintaining family happiness is not easy, but Mr. Nguyen Anh Vo in Tan An, Tan Ky has done it because he has a loving heart for his sick wife. He has created and maintained happiness for his family with the determination of a devoted and exemplary husband and father.

Born and raised in Thanh Chi, Thanh Chuong, after finishing high school, following the call of the Party and the State, Mr. Nguyen Anh Vo volunteered to participate in the construction of a new economic zone and was accepted as a worker at the An Ngai Youth Farm. In 1977, he married Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue from Nghi Xa - Nghi Loc. The husband was a farm staff, the wife was a primary school teacher, life at that time was still difficult, but love helped them overcome all obstacles.

It seemed that happiness was more complete when three children were born healthy, obedient, and good at studying. In 1990, disaster suddenly struck when his wife contracted meningitis. He spent all the money he had and borrowed from neighbors, relatives, and friends to take his wife to seek treatment everywhere. Although her life was saved, she completely lost her memory. For five years, he had to take care of his bedridden wife and three young children, all the burden fell on his thin shoulders.

Despite being busy with work at the office, Mr. Vo still plays the role of husband and father in the family well. When visiting his family, people can still clearly feel the love of the old couple through each word and gesture, he still calls her with sweet and affectionate words. "Our hair has turned gray/The fire of love is still strong, the fire of heart is still warm/Life has many wishes and desires/Measuring and re-measuring, the heart is still the same/Storms wash away the curse/But that "rose" is still the same color/In the world, some are poor, some are rich/Hungry or full, we keep the color of loyalty" - Those are the verses filled with love that he wrote for his wife.

He believes that parents must be role models for their children to follow, educating children must be done through concrete actions, so he is always exemplary in all actions, loving and respecting each other, educating his children in polite behavior, speaking politely, respecting elders, giving in to each other and knowing how to strive to excel in their studies. Since then, his 3 children have all studied well and all 3 have now graduated from university. His eldest son Nguyen Anh Dung used to be an excellent teacher at the national vocational high school level and is currently studying for a master's degree.

Although he has retired, he is still trusted by the people and organizations to hold the positions of Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Vice Chairman of the Tan An Commune Education Promotion Association. In every position, he has completed his tasks excellently, always living in harmony, simplicity, and friendliness with his neighbors. His successful and filial children are the priceless gifts that life has given him after years of wholehearted devotion to his loved ones in the family. He is truly a shining example of life force and love.
