Accordingly, to solve the problem of customers having to queue at gold bar sales points, from June 12, Vietcombank has deployed an online SJC gold bar purchase registration utility for customers right on the bank's website.
After filling in the information to choose the location, time frame for payment and delivery of SJC gold bars, and the amount of gold you want to order, customers will receive the service registration result with "appointment confirmation".
The time to register to buy SJC gold bars online is from 9:00 to 16:00. After registering, customers will receive a notification about the time of payment and delivery of gold at Vietcombank's SJC gold bar sales point from 13:30 to 16:00. In case the customer does not come to the transaction more than 30 minutes after the appointment time, Vietcombank will cancel the appointment confirmation to serve the next customer.
According to research, currently, online sales of SJC gold bars are only implemented at 6 Vietcombank branches in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Other provinces and cities have not yet implemented.

The price of SJC gold bars at gold brands and Big 4 banks up to now has not changed compared to last week, recording the 4th consecutive day of "no movement".
The price of gold rings fluctuated slightly this afternoon, accordingly, the price of 9999 round gold rings at DOJI was listed at 73.45-74.80 million VND/tael (buy - sell). Compared to yesterday's trading session, the price of 9999 gold rings at DOJI increased by 100,000 VND/tael for both buying and selling.
Meanwhile, at Saigon Jewelry Company, the price of gold rings is listed at 72.8-74.4 million VND/tael (buy - sell). Compared to yesterday's trading session, the price of 9999 gold rings at Saigon Jewelry Company remains the same for both buying and selling.
The central exchange rate listed by the State Bank is 24,254 VND/USD, up 4 VND/USD. The USD price at commercial banks is traded around 25,196 VND/USD for buying and 25,466 VND/USD for selling.
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 2:00 p.m. today, Vietnam time, was at 2,314.65 USD/ounce, a difference of 10.9 USD/ounce compared to yesterday's gold price. Converted according to the current exchange rate at Vietcombank, the world gold price is about 70.067 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is still 4.913 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.
