The record-breaking lantern road to welcome the full moon of July and the Mid-Autumn Festival will be launched at Asia Park on August 29. Part of the series of exciting Asian Sparkling Festivals, the lantern road promises to bring visitors a special moon-viewing season never seen before in Da Nang.

For the past month, nearly 100 talented artisans from Hoi An have been working day and night to complete thousands of large and small lanterns with unique shapes and colors to create this record-breaking lighting project right at Asia Park.

Passing through the large gate of Asia Park, visitors will surely be overwhelmed by the splendid light of thousands of large and small lanterns. The record-breaking lighting project includes 4 main complexes:

The central area with a giant dome is made of hundreds of traditional bamboo-framed paper lanterns. Walking in the magical shimmering light feels like walking in a bustling fairyland. Memories of barefoot childhood suddenly come back with so many star lanterns, lanterns pulling troops or carps jumping over the dragon gate. What is special is that there will be many mascots, world-famous cartoon characters... appearing in the form of lanterns, bringing joy and excitement to children.

The Japanese area features hundreds of lanterns that represent Japanese culture, especially the carp lanterns that symbolize the strength and bravery of Japanese men. The dome is made of Chouchin - a traditional Japanese lantern with 6 sides written with special chōchin characters (an ancient Japanese character). In the Japanese architectural space, the lanterns become more brilliant than ever when connecting the cultural space and consciousness of the Japanese people.

Indonesia Zone: Hundreds of lanterns will recreate a colorful Indonesia with rare lanterns in the shape of funny animals hung on the trees or traditional black and white patterned lanterns with a strong Indonesian feel.

Singapore Area: Coming to Singapore Area during the “Sparkling Asia Wonders” Lantern Festival, visitors will be overwhelmed by the red color covering the whole sky - the typical lantern color of the Chinese. There, it is impossible not to mention the Dragon-shaped lanterns - a symbol of sacred power, painstakingly created by the most skillful hands of artisans. The multi-colored lantern walls will be a wonderful backdrop for visitors who want to capture magical moments at the Asia Park Lantern Festival.
