(Baonghean.vn) - People in Nam Nghia commune (Nam Dan) surrounded the woman, some even held a knife to her neck and questioned her because they thought she had kidnapped a child.

A clip of a woman being surrounded and arrested by locals on suspicion of kidnapping children is spreading rapidly on Facebook. The clip was filmed in the early afternoon of June 24 in Nam Nghia commune, Nam Dan district.

In the clip, a man sits on top of a woman, holds a sharp knife close to her neck, and begins to question her about how she kidnapped children and how many people she has kidnapped.

This woman's luggage was a basket, in which were some towels and clothes. This person spoke in a harsh voice, her face was haggard.

This same woman, on June 14, 2017, was surrounded and arrested by the people of Hong Long commune (Nam Dan) in the Hong market area. Afterwards, this woman was protected by the Hong Long commune police and taken to the headquarters. However, upon verification, this woman showed signs of mental instability and could not declare her name and hometown.

The incident was then reported to the Nam Dan District Police. Colonel Cao Tien Mai - Head of Nam Dan District Police said that there was no sign that the woman had kidnapped a child, so she was released.

After watching the clip, many people expressed concern and anger. However, there are also opinions that the people surrounding and arresting the woman and then holding a knife to her neck to question her without handing her over to the police is a sign of violating the law.
