Last May, realizing that many upstream streams had abundant clean water sources, 50 households living in Production Team No. 1 of Thanh Thuy Commune, Thanh Chuong District contributed their efforts and money to install a system of storage tanks and a water pipeline more than 3 km long to bring clean water to the village to serve daily life and irrigation for local crops, especially the key tea tree.

After 4 months of hard work pulling pipes through the mountains and forests, the clean water model has been put into use. In the summer, the system will be used to water 5 households in a day. This irrigation system helps tea plants grow well and increase productivity.
The project also meets the water needs of the people. Mr. Nguyen Huu Be - who directly participated in the construction and use of the water source excitedly shared: "Since the water system was brought from the forest, my family has been saved a lot of things; we have a clean water source to use comfortably in daily life, we solve the worries in production, and we save money on electricity for pumping water"...
