Hung Xa residents (Hung Nguyen) contribute 36 billion VND to build new rural areas
(Baonghean.vn) - After 4 years of building new rural areas, Hung Xa commune (Hung Nguyen district) mobilized nearly 87.5 billion VND, of which people contributed and donated land worth nearly 36 billion VND.
On March 6, Hung Xa commune (Hung Nguyen) held a ceremony to receive the certificate recognizing the commune as meeting new rural standards. Attending the ceremony was comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
After 4 years of implementation, the total value of mobilized resources for new rural construction of the commune reached nearly 87.5 billion VND, of which people contributed and donated land of nearly 36 billion VND. Up to now, 100% of commune and inter-commune roads have been asphalted and concreted. The canals managed by the commune have been hardened to 87%, basically meeting the requirements of production and people's lives.

In addition to infrastructure development, Hung Xa also focuses on promoting economic transformation; focusing on directing the implementation of measures and solutions to develop production, small-scale industry, professions, services, and people's income is increasingly improved, with an average per capita currently reaching 25.2 million VND/year.
Poverty reduction has been given attention, and the poverty rate is now 3.4%. Schools at all levels have been recognized as meeting national standards; 6/6 hamlets have been awarded the title of cultural village.

At the ceremony, comrade Le Xuan Dai awarded a certificate of recognition for the commune meeting new rural standards to Hung Xa commune.
On this occasion, 4 collectives and 4 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee; The District People's Committee also awarded certificates of merit to individuals and collectives with outstanding achievements in the new rural construction movement.
