Nghe An people continue to have many activities to support the prevention and fight against Covid-19 epidemic
(Baonghean.vn) - On April 8, there continued to be many activities by individuals, units, and philanthropists to support and give gifts to officers, soldiers, functional forces, and people at concentrated quarantine areas in the province.
Working delegation of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the Military Command of Nghe An provincevisited, encouraged and gave gifts to citizens as well as forces on duty at concentrated quarantine areas of Tan Ky district.

The centralized quarantine area at the old Tax Department headquarters of Tan Ky district currently has 148 citizens in quarantine, most of whom returned from Laos on March 30. Up to this point, the health of the citizens is normal, and they are assured to carry out quarantine according to regulations.
On this occasion, leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the Provincial Military Command presented gifts to citizens and those on duty at the centralized medical quarantine area in Tan Ky district, including 20 cartons of milk, 48 boxes of spirulina and 48 boxes of fermented soy sauce.

At the quarantine point of Chau Ly Boarding Secondary School (Quy Hop)Many citizens who are in quarantine here have asked the officers and soldiers here to receive nearly 15 million VND in donations (including more than 11 million VND in Vietnamese currency and 1.2 million Lao Kip) to send to the Quy Hop District Covid-19 Prevention and Control Fund.

There are currently 163 citizens undergoing centralized quarantine. These citizens were transferred to the quarantine area in two batches on March 31, most of them are Vietnamese citizens working in Laos and Thailand and returning to Vietnam through Cau Treo Border Gate (Ha Tinh).
Moved by the dedicated care of the medical team, the forces participating in the mission and the local government. To express their gratitude, citizens mobilized each other to contribute gifts to the medical teams, doctors, soldiers, officers and forces performing tasks at this quarantine area.

The Education sector has mobilized all cadres, teachers and workers to support the prevention and control of the epidemic. After 5 days of launching, the entire Education sector of Quy Hop district has had 67/67 schools from kindergarten to secondary school level supporting in cash through the account of the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Support Committee, more than 176 million VND.
In addition, schools in the district also donated necessities and cash items worth more than 32.2 million VND; donations via text message to hotline 1470 were more than 24.3 million VND and donations at the place of residence were more than 9 million VND.

Special,Mrs. Vi Thi Mai (81 years old)Residents of Cha Luan village, Ngoc Lam commune, Thanh Chuong district climbed mountains and waded through streams to bring vegetables, eggs, and noodles to give to border guards, militia, and police of Ngoc Lam commune who are on duty to prevent the epidemic on the province's border.
The touching and emotional image of the old man encouraged the spirit of the officers and soldiers of the Border Guard and the forces on duty here to overcome difficulties and shortages, and continue to hold the post to perform the task of fighting the epidemic.

Quang Phong ward's association organizations directly donated 1,000 pairs of medical gloves, 140 kg of rice, chicken, squash and gourd, fruits, bottled water... with an estimated total value of about 10 million VND to more than 200 quarantined citizens and officers and soldiers on duty at the centralized quarantine area at the Western Economic and Technical College quarantine point.
All of these vegetables, tubers, and fruits are grown, cared for, and harvested by farmers in Quang Phong ward to support the local Covid-19 prevention and control work.

At Nam Dan,Two sisters, Bui Thi Anh Phuong, class 10A6 and Bui Thi Ha An, class 12C10 (Nam Dan 1 High School) cooked porridge for children in the quarantine area with their lucky money.
It is known that the reason the two sisters decided to cook porridge for the children in the quarantine area is that recently, they and their mother participated with the Women's Union of Nam Anh commune to serve porridge to the quarantine area. Knowing the wishes of the two children, their mother enthusiastically supported them. The two sisters personally selected food from their lucky money to cook 70 portions of porridge for the children.

The centralized quarantine area at Military School of Military Region 4, Nam Anh commune has 581 citizens returning from Laos and Thailand, including 70 children.
