(Baonghean.vn) - After the Tet holiday, Nghe An people flocked to the train station and the roads to catch the bus to the South or North to work. Most people felt tired because of waiting for the train or bus for too long.

On the evening of the 6th day of Tet (January 30), Vinh Station was crowded with passengers taking trains to the South and North to return to work and study after the 2020 Lunar New Year holiday. The entrances and exits of the station were packed with people jostling each other. Photo: Quang An

On major roads in the province, large numbers of people gathered to catch cars back to work. In the photo: Long lines of workers sitting on the roadside waiting for cars to go South on the Vinh bypass, through Hung Nguyen district. Photo: Quang An
Mr. Nguyen Quang Tuan in Thanh Xuan commune, Thanh Chuong district confided: "Both my husband and I are workers in Binh Duong. The whole family was supposed to leave yesterday, but we couldn't find tickets and couldn't get through to any bus company. So early this morning (the 7th day of Tet), we had to take a taxi from Thanh Chuong to Ben Thuy 2 bridge in the hope that there would be a car to go in time for work. The ticket price from Nghe An to Binh Duong is usually only 600,000 VND, but now it's up to 1.8 million VND, but we have to accept it...". Photo: Quang An
Ms. Bui Thi Nhan in Hung Yen Nam commune (Hung Nguyen) sadly said: I am a worker at a garment factory in Ho Chi Minh City. On the 7th day of Tet, people avoid traveling, but on the 10th day, I have to work and cannot stay any longer. I am used to suffering, but I only feel sorry for my children. It is so cold that they have to follow their parents to the South. Even though it is 12 noon, I do not dare to go out to eat because I am afraid that the bus will miss the trip. I have to let the children eat and then get back on the bus to figure out what to do next... Photo: Quang An

Although the pick-up time was agreed upon, according to the reporter's records, on the morning of the 7th day of Tet, many buses still ran late, causing people to wait for a long time with their bulky luggage. Photo: Quang An

After a long wait, many people were picked up by buses. Due to the high demand for travel, the situation of stopping to pick up passengers along the road and cramming passengers still occurs on many routes.
