Foreign man sets trap to catch 'lover' for 1 night because money was stolen

Because all her property was stolen, a foreign man set a love trap, luring a prostitute to reveal herself so he could capture her.

District 7 Police, Ho Chi Minh City has just handed over suspect Nguyen Thi Huynh Giao (born in 1992, from An Giang, temporarily residing in District 7) to District 1 Police to expand the investigation and handle according to authority the act of "property theft". According to the initial investigation of the police and Giao's statement, through social networks, he got to know Mr. HK (born in 1958, Canadian nationality). Through conversation, Mr. K promised to come to Vietnam to travel and visit Giao.

On August 27, Mr. K took a flight to Ho Chi Minh City and Giao picked him up. After that, the two went out to eat and then returned to a hotel on Cong Quynh Street, District 1. There, Mr. K mentioned buying and selling sex for $1,000/time and Giao agreed.

After having fun, while Mr. K was sleeping, Giao took all the property in his suitcase and fled. When he woke up, Mr. K did not know what to do, so he reported it to the police. According to Mr. K, his suitcase contained the following assets: 7,000 USD, 13 million VND and many important personal documents.

While the police were investigating, Mr. K also tried to contact Giao by all means, but his phone number was unreachable and his messages on social media were also unanswered. Then Mr. K came up with a plan to expose this prostitute.

By using fake nicknames, fake names and chatting on social networks, Mr. K got to know Giao. Thinking that the prey had just appeared, Giao was happy, "rehashing the old story" with sweet words.

Giao then told the man she had just met online that she was staying at an apartment in Phu My Ward, District 7 and asked him to meet her at a nearby coffee shop. On the evening of September 16, Giao went to meet her new friend with the intention of continuing to play tricks to steal her property.

Immediately after meeting, knowing that Mr. K had set a trap for him, Giao tried to run away but Mr. K chased and caught him. Giao tried every way to scream, call for help from people around and create a noisy atmosphere, but still could not escape...

Upon receiving the report, the local police intervened and invited the parties to the headquarters for questioning. After clarifying the initial details, it was determined that the theft occurred in District 1, so they handed it over to the district police for handling.

Initially, Giao admitted her actions. However, this girl stated that on that night, after having fun with Mr. K, he did not agree to pay 1,000 USD as agreed, but asked to continue serving her a second time.

Because he wanted money, Giao also served him, but Mr. K forced him to stay overnight and refused to pay. Angry at Mr. K's "backtracking", Giao waited until he was fast asleep, stole all his belongings and ran away.

Giao declared in detail that she had destroyed all of Mr. K's important personal documents. Giao used most of the stolen money to pay for her sick mother's medical expenses, cosmetic surgery, and personal expenses.
