Man finds gold nugget worth one hundred thousand dollars
A gold prospector found a gold nugget estimated to be worth approximately $100,000 using a metal detector.
The West Australian newspaper reported that the lucky man who wanted to hide the treasure found a 1.4kg gold nugget using a metal detector as he passed near the salt lakes in Western Australia.

The man reportedly took the gold nugget to equipment store Finders Keepers Gold Prospecting.
The store owner estimated the nugget to be worth around $100,000. He added that nuggets this large are discovered several times a year, usually with the help of heavy equipment.
