Following a report about a man brazenly spray-painting advertisements with the slogan "No more asthma" on walls throughout Vinh City, we also received information, along with CCTV footage, that this same man had sprayed advertisements on walls in Ho Chi Minh Square.
As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, over the past few days, people throughout the wards and communes, especially the central wards in Vinh City, have been extremely worried.Outraged by the situation with these advertisements.The same message, "100% Asthma Cure. Guaranteed. 0366.666.xxx," appears frequently on house walls, public areas, and other locations.
After the news was published, we also received information that this man had gone into Ho Chi Minh Square to spray advertisements on the base of the wall.
According to CCTV footage, the man sprayed the graffiti in the square around noon a few days ago. The vandalism occurred right at the base of the wall near the fountain.
Although the management board of Ho Chi Minh Square and the Ho Chi Minh monument later removed the advertisement, this act (along with the city's practice of painting advertisements on walls) demonstrates a reprehensible disregard for the law.
We also learned that the management unit subsequently reported the matter to the local police, but for some reason, the person who wrote and drew graffiti has not yet been punished.
