People earn millions from catching catfish in flood water
(Baonghean.vn)- The flood on the afternoon of July 21st occurred in Ky Son district, causing floodwaters to carry a lot of mud, forcing the catfish to come up to the surface to breathe. As a result, people were lucky to catch dozens of kilograms of fish.
At 5:30 p.m. on July 21, while collecting firewood on the Nam Mo River, near the village, Mr. La Van May, Canh village, Ta Ca commune, was lucky to catch more than 10kg.
Mr. May said that he caught these fish mainly right at the edge of the water near the shore. According to the living habits of catfish, this is a type of fish that lives on the bottom where the water flows gently, the fish likes to live cleanly. Therefore, because the flood water carries a lot of mud, this species of fish lacks oxygen, they have to crawl to the shore or rise above the water surface to breathe.
