Hung Phuc is the central ward of Vinh City, with 11 blocks. In recent years, thanks to the good implementation of the movement "All people protect national security", the situation of information security is basically stable; no serious criminal offenses have occurred. In 2 years (from September 2015 to September 2017), the Ward Police investigated and clarified 35 cases, arrested 51 subjects, reaching a rate of 75% compared to the number of criminal cases that occurred; arrested 18 cases, 22 subjects for drug crimes, destroyed 1 illegal drug trafficking point; established records for 12 drug addicts for centralized drug rehabilitation, 12 drug addicts for community-based drug rehabilitation, sent 6 subjects to educational facilities, reform schools, arrested 3 subjects with wanted warrants; arrested 26 cases, 51 subjects for gambling, lottery... That result was partly due to doing a good job of grasping the situation among the people through the activity "Police listen to people's opinions". |

At this forum, many people participated in giving frank opinions to the ward police force in general and the city police in particular, focusing mainly on hot issues in the area, such as: Some people from neighboring wards come to sell lottery tickets and write lottery numbers in the ward; in areas near schools, traffic jams often occur during rush hours;
People also recommended that the police force should proactively assess the security situation of schools, agencies, hospitals, etc.; build models of connection between agencies and residential areas on security and order issues; strengthen the grasp of the situation of citizens. In particular, it is necessary to monitor the activities of karaoke and dance floor businesses after the prescribed time frame.
At the same time, it is necessary to mobilize retired police and military personnel to protect national security; arrange temporary parking spaces on the block's main roads to avoid traffic obstruction, making it convenient for fire trucks to access residential areas if a fire occurs...
