Understanding the hunger situation of the people in the flood-hit areas of Quang Nam, right after the flood receded, the Da Nang Youth Volunteers group organized emergency relief for people in isolated communes. The first relief shipment with more than 200 gifts from the group arrived at the flood-hit areas of Dai Loc, Quang Nam province.

Currently, Dai Son, Dai Lanh and Dai Hung communes in Dai Loc district are still isolated by floodwaters. The only means of transportation for the Da Nang Youth Volunteers to get to these places is by boat. Since the flood, people in the above communes have had to endure, struggling to get through the day because all the rice was submerged in the flood.

According to local leaders, to prevent people from going hungry, the local authorities will use their rice reserves to distribute to the people. However, up to now, many households have not been able to return home because their houses are located in low-lying areas, and some other households' houses have been submerged in sand due to the flood. "The current problem that needs to be solved is to clear the roads that have been completely cut off by floodwaters. Thai Son bridge in Dai Hung commune - where the relief boat docked earlier - is now completely submerged in water.
