Motorcyclist blocks car, holds sharp object to threaten driver
Police have identified and arrested a man riding a motorbike in the wrong direction on Pham Van Dong Street, Go Vap District, who blocked a car and threatened the driver with a knife.
On April 26, the Go Vap District team of the Criminal Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police Department coordinated with Ward 3 Police, Go Vap District to clarify the case of a man riding a motorbike in the wrong direction, blocking a car on Pham Van Dong Street, then threatening the driver with a knife.
Initially, the police identified the suspect as Bui Quang Sang (35 years old, residing in Phu Nhuan district).
After the incident, Sang was arrested by the Go Vap ward police, tested positive for drugs and sent to compulsory drug rehabilitation. The police are currently consolidating the case file and handling Sang according to the law.

Police clarified that at 1:50 a.m. on April 24, Sang drove his motorbike home from a nearby entertainment venue, but drove in the wrong direction into the car lane.
At that time, there was a car traveling on Pham Van Dong street, from Tan Son Nhat airport to Binh Thanh district. When the motorbike was going in the opposite direction, the car driver stopped the car.

Sang parked his motorbike in the middle of the road and signaled for the driver to move out of the way. Then, Sang pulled out a knife and approached the driver's seat, threatening him by banging on the window and kicking the left side mirror.
Fearing an attack, the driver drove forward, knocking over Sang's motorbike to continue moving.
The clip was recorded by a car's dash cam and the driver also recorded Sang's clear identity. When the clip went viral, it made many people angry.
