Mr. Pham Xuan Linh (born in 1964), father of player Xuan Manh, said that during Tet, many people came to wish the family a happy new year.

“This year, my family celebrated Tet the same as last year, but knowing that there would be more people coming to visit, I asked my wife to buy a few more packages of candy and a few more kilos of wine to treat everyone,” Mr. Linh happily said.

He also expressed his gratitude for the love of fans for his son and shared that this was the first year his family had welcomed so many people to celebrate Tet.

Previously, Xuan Manh’s family was the poorest in the commune. Passionate about football since childhood, Xuan Manh decided to pursue a career in “shorts and shirts”. However, it was not until he was promoted to the SLNA first team that Xuan Manh was able to help his parents somewhat.

Also after the success with the U23 Vietnam team, from the rewards he received, this player was able to help his parents celebrate Tet more fully than previous years.

Xuan Manh confided that although he was very tired because of the continuous matches, the affection of his family and fans made him feel much warmer.
