Mother risks life to save severely burned child needs help
(Baonghean.vn) - As reported by Nghe An Electronic Newspaper, at 7:54 p.m. on April 23, 2015, the severe burn case of patient Cut Thi Danh in Xop Phe village, Muong Tip commune (Ky Son) was admitted to Nghe An General Hospital at 2:00 a.m. on April 23, 2015 in critical condition due to severe burns from rushing into a fire to save her child. At 10:30 a.m. on April 24, 2015, the patient was transferred to the Central Burn Hospital.

Mr. Cut Van Thuong (born 1988, patient's husband) said with a choked voice: My family is too poor, my grandparents are also in difficult circumstances so I took my wife to the hospital a bit late. Currently, my two daughters (the eldest is 5 years old and the youngest is 2 years old) are living with their 70-year-old grandparents, in Xop Phe village, Muong Tip commune (Ky Son).

Mr. Thuong said: My family sells gasoline. That day, my two children were playing with gasoline and caused a fire. They escaped, but my wife didn't know and rushed into the fire to save them. Two neighbors also rushed in to save them. They are currently suffering from severe burns and are being treated at Ky Son District General Hospital.
Regarding this fire, Doctor Hai: Director of Ky Son District Hospital said over the phone: Two patients: Luong Thi Minh and Hoa Me Niem in Xop Phe village, Muong Tip commune also suffered severe burns from 1st to 3rd degree. High risk of infection.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Yen - Communication Department of Nghe An General Hospital said: The family was so poor that when the patient's husband was admitted to the hospital, he did not have any money. During his stay here, he relied on charity meals from the hospital and the patients. After hearing the news, the leaders of Ky Son District promptly supported the family with 3 million VND.
Currently, the family of patient Thi Danh is in a very difficult situation and needs the help of philanthropists to help her have money for treatment, overcome the dangerous situation and stabilize the lives of her young children.
