However, when he arrived at the hospital, he did not cooperate with the medical staff. Taking advantage of the hospital's negligence, at 2:00 a.m. on November 30, Reardon jumped into the ambulance of the Vietnam - France Hospital and sped away.
When arriving in front of house number 458 Minh Khai (Vinh Tuy ward), the ambulance driven by Reardon crashed into a motorbike, causing the driver, Mr. Nguyen Van Tung (born in 1981, from Van Lam, Hung Yen) to die on the spot.
After causing the accident, Mr. Reardon continued driving, crashing into the gate of a nearby agency.
After getting out of the car, Mr. Reardon continued to cause public disorder. When the police arrived, he ran to the second floor of the building, used a flower pot to smash the glass, and suddenly jumped to the ground.
Reardon was taken to the emergency room with injuries to his back and legs. According to authorities, this foreigner shows signs of mental illness.
