Woman jumped off bridge and was saved by police
(Baonghean.vn)- On the morning of November 23, Lieutenant Colonel Vo Mau Son - Head of Gia Lach Police Station, Ha Tinh said: "The station has just coordinated with Nghe An police to successfully rescue a woman who jumped off Ben Thuy bridge to commit suicide."

Initial information, the woman named T., about 60 years old, residing in Le Mao ward, Vinh city, due to family problems, she jumped into the river.
Mr. Nguyen Van Bay, a passerby, said: “At around 8:30 a.m. on November 23, I saw a woman jump off Ben Thuy 1 Bridge. Many people shouted and panicked. However, the woman did not sink but remained floating on the water, so many people called the police to come and rescue her.”
Upon receiving the news, Gia Lach station police led by Lieutenant Colonel Vo Mau Son and his teammates went to rescue people. At the same time, Nghe An police also sent vehicles and canoes to rescue people, with an ambulance ready on shore.
Within 30 minutes, the police successfully rescued the woman.
The woman has been transferred to the hospital and is gradually recovering.
