Pioneer in donating land in Quynh Hung
(Baonghean) - Responding to the movement of donating land for rural roads, Mr. Dinh Cong Bang in Hamlet 6, Quynh Hung Commune, Quynh Luu District, a Catholic Party member, took the lead in the movement of donating land for rural roads. Not only that, he also actively mobilized people to donate land, contributing to speeding up the progress of new rural construction in the locality.
Immediately after the plan to implement the movement of donating land to build roads and new rural areas in Quynh Hung commune, village 6 stepped up propaganda work for the people. Thereby, it received the consensus and support of many households, especially Catholic party member Dinh Cong Bang. He is the leader in the village on the issue of donating land to build roads. He donated 40 square meters of land and dismantled 40 square meters of the surrounding wall. Mr. Bang said: "Building new rural areas, the State has such a policy, so I also have the spirit of donating land to build beautiful roads, convenient for travel".
This year, party member Dinh Cong Bang is over 70 years old, 45 years in the party. Although his family life is still facing difficulties, he understands the meaning of donating land to build roads and build new rural areas. Not only is he a pioneer in donating land, he also actively works with commune and village officials to visit each household to propagate and mobilize people to contribute labor, money and especially donate land. Village 6, Quynh Hung commune has 115 households, of which 75 are Catholics. After learning about the benefits of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, some households that were subject to clearance to widen the road were willing to donate land and remove fences with an area of nearly 460 square meters of land and hundreds of square meters of surrounding walls. It can be said that to achieve that result, party member Dinh Cong Bang is one of the people with great contributions. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Nien - Secretary of the Party Committee of Quynh Hung Commune, Quynh Luu District, assessed: "With the common spirit, under the direction and leadership of the Party Committee, the Party cell mobilized people in Hamlet 6 to donate land for road construction. In particular, the family of Party member Dinh Cong Bang set an example of donating land, dismantling fences; setting an example to encourage other families to follow, so during the construction of the road, there were many favorable conditions".
