Ms. Wang Zia Chao, 43 years old, was sentenced to one year suspended prison for "intentionally damaging pictures" of the Cambodian Royal Family and had to pay a fine of up to 500 USD.

In court, Ms. Wang expressed regret for destroying the portrait of former King Norodom Sihanouk, an incident that nearly caused workers at the Top World factory to riot. "If I had known... I wouldn't have done it," Ms. Wang said. "I feel sorry for my mistake and want to apologize for everything."

Ms. Wang's incident angered about 1,000 workers at the time, forcing the police to mobilize a large force to control the situation.

According to the court's request, Ms. Wang will have to publicly apologize to the Cambodian Royal Family, while her management company has also decided to fire her./.
