Vietnamese in Germany with Lantern Festival Poetry Night
Despite the harsh weather below 0 degrees Celsius and heavy snowfall, many poetry lovers still traveled more than 600 km to join the Nguyen Tieu Poetry Night of the Vietnamese Poetry Club.
The fourth Nguyen Tieu Poetry Night of the Berlin Poetry Club took place on the evening of February 23, the 14th day of the first lunar month of Quy Ty, at Dong Xuan Trade Center in Berlin, with the participation of many poets and poetry lovers from many regions of Germany.

The Nguyen Tieu Poetry Night is also an opportunity for the Organizing Committee to summarize the community poetry contest launched over the past two months and award certificates and prizes to the winning authors.
Authors who did not register in advance also have the opportunity to present their work.
The content of the poems in this year's contest is very rich, from feelings about spring, homesickness as well as love between men and women, to social issues and patriotism of people far from home....
Singer Thanh Huyen performed the poem New Year's Eve Moment by author Dao Manh Long, born in 1995 in Vinh Bao district, Hai Phong, sent to Germany for the contest.
Mr. Sa Huynh and Ms. Hong Trang, two famous poets in the community, represented the Organizing Committee to summarize the poetry contest. A total of 80 poems were submitted by 37 Vietnamese authors in Germany and 10 poems were submitted by 5 authors from Vietnam.
In the end, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to Dai Trang in Dresden, the second prize to Minh Hai in Chemnitz and the third prize to Thanh Binh in Freital.
