Risk of insecurity on the Lam River road through Hung Loi commune
(Baonghean) - The tourist route along Lam River through Hung Loi Commune (Hung Nguyen) has now subsided in many places, forming deep holes over 1 meter wide and nearly 20 centimeters deep, very dangerous for traffic participants.
About a month ago, Mr. Pham The Duc (born in 1988), residing in Hung Khanh commune, was returning from Vinh City at dusk when he accidentally fell into a hole, fell into the field, suffered facial injuries, and his Jupiter motorbike was severely damaged. Mr. Dau Van Hoan, residing in hamlet 6, Hung Loi commune, said that many days, 4-5 people fell off their motorbikes on this stretch of road, especially at dawn, dusk, and when it rained, causing water to accumulate in the holes, making it difficult to recognize and avoid.
"Potholes" on the tourist route along Lam River through Hung Loi - Hung Nguyen
Faced with this situation, many people have used trees as warning signs, but they only lasted for a few days. Some passersby have bought cement from nearby households to fill in the deep holes, but it didn’t last long before it came off. Therefore, to ensure long-term safety, we hope that the management unit of this road will soon inspect and repair it so that people can travel with peace of mind.
