Risk of landslides in Khe Moi
(Baonghean) - The irrigation canal project in Mon Son commune (Con Cuong) was built more than 5 years ago, taking irrigation water from Moi stream to supply dozens of hectares of rice and crops in Thai Son 2 and Tan Son villages, Mon Son commune. However, more than a month ago, due to landslides on the banks of Moi stream, a part of the irrigation canal serving production collapsed. This is one of the reasons why a part of the rice and crop land of Thai Son 2 and Tan Son villages lack water for production.

Faced with the above situation, the people reported to the village executive committee and the commune People's Committee. However, because the landslide location was relatively far away and there were no motorbikes, the landslide became wider and wider. If not handled promptly, the upstream water flowing down every day would continue to cause landslides, broken ditches and loss of productive land...
