Nguyen Hoang Phuong missed out on the Gold Medal at the 17th Asian Games.

Not competing well in the final round, Nguyen Hoang Phuong could only win silver medal in the men's 50m slow-fire pistol event.

After the men's 50m pistol qualifying round, Vietnam has two shooters entering the finals, Hoang Xuan Vinh and Nguyen Hoang Phuong. This gives Vietnamese shooters a great chance to win the first gold medal at this year's Asian Games.
