Nguyen Van Nam (Yen Thanh) won third prize in the final round of Road to Olympia 2013

(Baonghean.vn) –On the morning of June 30, the final match of the Road to Olympia program took place at Studio S14, Vietnam Television and was broadcast live at 5 locations across the country. Phan Dang Luu High School (Yen Thanh) was one of the locations. Attending the location were representatives of the Department of Education and Training, leaders of Yen Thanh district, along with many Phan Dang Luu High School students and Yen Thanh fans.

Nguyen Van Nam, a 12A1 student at Phan Dang Luu High School, has excelled in the weekly, monthly and quarterly rounds to enter the final round of “Road to Olympia 2013”, along with the following climbers: Hoang The Anh, 11th grade Math major, Bac Giang High School for the Gifted; Vu Hoang Son, 12A Chemistry major, Natural Science High School, Hanoi National University; Dao Nguyen Thanh Hung, Gifted High School, Ho Chi Minh City National University.

After 4 rounds: Warm-up, Overcoming obstacles, acceleration and finishing, with 285 points, Hoang The Anh (11th grade Math, Bac Giang High School for the Gifted) became the champion of "Road to Olympia 2013". Second place was Dao Nguyen Thanh Hung (Ho Chi Minh City); Third place went to Vu Hoang Son (Hanoi) and Nguyen Van Nam (student of Phan Dang Luu High School - Yen Thanh).

Although he did not achieve the expected results, with the spirit of playing with all his heart and showing his full potential, Nguyen Van Nam has brought pride to the people of Nghe An. Currently, Nam's biggest goal is to pass the entrance exam to the Faculty of Automation (Hanoi University of Science and Technology) and Foreign Economics (Foreign Trade University).
