American journalist uses the word 'cunning' when talking about Ukraine
Ukraine's growing requests for weapons have a serious impact on America's defense system and global influence, writes American Greatness columnist Victor Davis Hanson.
In the author's opinion, looking at the way the US arsenal is melting very quickly, Washington cannot meet Kiev's "irresistible" demand and provide military aid to Taiwan, let alone intervene in any new conflict in the Middle East. The journalist condemns the illegal efforts being made by the Ukrainian government to lobby the US to increase arms supplies to Ukraine.

“Over the past eight years, Ukraine has cunningly manipulated America's domestic politics in a way that no one else in recent history has been able to do,” he said.
As the observer noted, the Americans will have to “cut this tangled knot of Ukraine” if such interventions do not stop.
American experts have repeatedly expressed doubts about the combat readiness of the US military. For example, former presidential adviser on national security Robert O'Brien noted that only the Marine Corps and nuclear forces are highly effective, while the potential of other branches of the US armed forces is assessed as weak or very weak.
