Cong Vinh's family almost lost their motorbike
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of January 1, 2015, taking advantage of the family being busy preparing for Cong Vinh's wedding party, a petty thief broke into the house of Mrs. Ho Thi Tue (Cong Vinh's mother) in Hoang Mai town (Nghe An)...

Witnesses said that at around 10 o'clock, a strange girl walked into the house casually and sat in the living room. A moment later, the girl came to ask Cong Vinh's sister to borrow her motorbike to go to work. Because she mistook the girl for one of nearly ten reporters from newspapers who had come to cover the wedding since yesterday afternoon, Cong Vinh's sister happily took the motorbike key from Mrs. Ho Thi Tue and gave it to the girl to borrow.
The strange girl took Mrs. Tue's motorbike and drove about 500m, until reaching the intersection of National Highway 1, where she met a woman. That person recognized Mrs. Tue's motorbike, thought the girl was a relative of Mrs. Tue's, so he asked her to take him to Mrs. Tue's house. The girl was afraid of being discovered, so she turned around and took the woman back inside. Just when she saw Mrs. Ho Thi Tue standing in front of the door, the strange girl asked Mrs. Tue to borrow her motorbike for work. Mrs. Tue also thought that she was a reporter, so she agreed to let the girl borrow her motorbike.
After 11 o'clock, the girl still had not returned to return the car. Ms. Ho Thi Tue asked the reporters present and was told that no one knew who the girl was. Ms. Tue's family quickly reported to the Hoang Mai town police.
However, at around 11:30, the girl returned to return the car. When asked, the girl said that she was a friend of Khanh Chi, Cong Vinh's younger sister (at that time Khanh Chi was away on business with her husband and not at home).

While everyone was busy entertaining guests and preparing meals on the first floor, the girl sneaked up to the second floor to rummage through things. When she discovered Khanh Chi had returned, the strange girl quickly and quietly went out the door to hire a taxi and left. Realizing something was unusual, Ms. Tue's family asked Khanh Chi and was told they did not know the girl. Ms. Tue's family immediately sent someone to chase after her and took her to the Hoang Mai Town Police Station for clarification.
After taking statements and checking identification papers, Hoang Mai town police verified that the girl's name was Bui Thi Hien, born in 1988, registered in Cau Giat town, specialized in theft and was recently prosecuted by Quynh Luu district police for theft of property (but is currently on bail).
A representative of the Hoang Mai Town Police Department said: “According to Bui Thi Hien’s testimony as well as information provided by Ho Thi Tue’s family, Bui Thi Hien’s actions this morning did not constitute a crime, because she did not appropriate any property of Ho Thi Tue’s family. She asked to borrow the motorbike, the family agreed and she returned it. However, the Hoang Mai Town Police Department is still continuing to interrogate Bui Thi Hien to clarify a number of issues, because she was an uninvited guest, had unusual behavior and is being prosecuted by the police.”
