Aloe vera rock sugar helps cool down on summer days

Aloe vera has the effect of preventing some causes of cancer, cooling the liver, detoxifying, supporting digestion. In addition, this plant also helps increase resistance and makes the skin smooth, beautiful, healthy and brighter.

According to traditional medicine, basil seeds have a cooling effect, help clear heat, benefit the throat, reduce fever, and relieve constipation. They are often used to treat dry coughs, sore throats, vomiting blood, nosebleeds, urinary tract infections, toothaches, red eyes, and boils. Basil seeds can be drunk many times a day, and are non-toxic when used regularly. They are used as a refreshing drink to treat heat-related illnesses in the summer.

Combining aloe vera and basil seeds will create a drink that is both delicious, nutritious and effective in cooling the body.

Ingredient:

- 2 kg aloe vera (choose large, thick and fresh plants).

- 700g rock sugar.

- 20g basil seeds.

- 2 liters of filtered water.

Perform:

- Wash aloe vera, peel off the skin (be careful to peel off the skin to avoid bitterness) then dice. Soak aloe vera in a little salt for about 10-15 minutes then rinse several times with water until the slime is gone, drain.

- Boil water and add rock sugar, remove only the rock sugar. Melt the sugar then add basil seeds. Wait for the water to boil and the basil seeds to bloom, add the chopped aloe vera, stir well until the water boils again then turn off the stove. Note: Do not cook for too long because the aloe vera will become mushy and not delicious.

- Cool aloe vera water and put it in the refrigerator for use within a few days.
