According to the reporter's records at Vinh station at noon on September 4, there were many passengers waiting for the train. According to data from Vinh Railway Station, all train tickets departing from Vinh station on September 4 were booked with over 3,000 tickets, even the number of extra seats were not available.

In addition to the main train pairs such as SE1-2, SE3-4, SE5-6, SE7-8, there are also other train routes that have been reinforced such as NA12, NA3-4, SE35-36... to serve the travel needs of passengers after the holiday. Of which, train NA12 departing at 2:10 p.m. and SE36 departing at 1:25 p.m. on September 4 were the most crowded with about 1,000 people.

InVinh airportis also in a similar situation. The number of passengers coming here to check in for flights to the provinces increased significantly on September 4. Currently, there are 4 airlines operating flights to and from Vinh, including: Vietnam Airlines, Bamboo, Vietjet, Jetstar.

Mr. Hoang Van Thu - Director of Vinh International Airport said: During this holiday, there are about 30 flights arriving at Vinh airport every day. Of which, in the 3 days from September 1 to 3, Vinh airport welcomed 26,000 passengers. On September 4, the last day of the holiday, nearly 10,000 passengers came to the airport to check in, an increase compared to previous days. Despite the large number of passengers, the check-in process was stable, orderly, and there was no jostling.

Bus stations in the province are also bustling with passengers at this time. At Bac Vinh Bus Station, more than 170 buses are operating at full capacity to serve passengers after the holiday. Of which, routes such as Vinh - Hanoi, Vinh - Ho Chi Minh City, Vinh - Da Nang, Vinh - Binh Duong are all basically fully booked on September 4.

Not only at train stations, bus stations, and airports, but other means of public transport such as buses, intra-provincial taxis, and technology-based motorbike taxis also saw a significant increase in the number of passengers after the holiday. This is considered the most prosperous time for the passenger transport industry after more than 2 years of being heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
