Army Cheo Theater performs for Nghe An soldiers
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of April 6, at Regiment 764, the Provincial Military Command, the Army Cheo Theater, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army organized an art performance program to serve officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command and people in the stationed area.
At the program, the Army Cheo Theater performed the Cheo play "Land and Sea".
The play tells the story of Quan, who was born into a family with a revolutionary tradition. His father was a soldier on the Ship Without Number who sacrificed his life for the Fatherland. Continuing that tradition, Quan became a Navy officer. While his mother at home was old and had a serious illness, and his wife was pregnant, he held back his tears and left for duty at sea and on remote islands.

The play praises the fighting spirit and noble sacrifice of the Vietnam People's Navy soldiers who, regardless of difficulties and hardships, are willing to dedicate their youth every day and every hour to protect the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.

Through performing arts activities to ensure the cultural and artistic enjoyment needs of officers and soldiers and to ensure the regime, norms and standards of spiritual and cultural life according to regulations.

This is one of the activities to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification; the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory and the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh... Thereby, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, encouraging and motivating cadres and soldiers to strive and be determined to excellently complete all assigned tasks./.
