According to the Voice of Russia, South Korea's Chosun newspaper reported on December 7 that North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un's residence and government buildings were guarded by about 100 armored vehicles.

Meanwhile, all events conducted by Mr. Kim Jong-Un are accompanied by armed guards.

The newspaper quoted its own source as saying that "under Kim Jong-Un's orders, about a hundred armored vehicles have been deployed around the Presidential Palace and government buildings of North Korea due to concerns about the possibility of a military coup or uprising.

"Kim Jong-Un is very concerned about the possibility of an emergency in North Korea," the source said.

According to South Korean experts, the adoption of these measures is due to growing dissatisfaction in North Korean society with the policies Kim Jong-Un carries out in the country and resentment among the political elite towards him.

Discontent with Kim Jong-Un's policies can also be seen within the ranks of the Korean People's Army.
